1200MK3D and unmentioned 1200MK3DS both came in silver, not just black

[edit]

The article says the 1200MK3D was Japan-only and black finish. But it is easy to find silver ones for sale online. Also see http://audio-heritage.jp/TECHNICS/player/sl-1200mk3d.html for reference; it says silver and black were available. Also on eBay I see there are some silver decks for sale which clearly say SL1200MK3DS on the box. What does the "S" stand for? http://panasonic.jp/audio/p-db/SL-1200MK3DS.html mentions these, too, come in both black and silver finish. — Preceding unsigned comment added by mjb (talkcontribs)

WEAK LEAD

[edit]

The Lead needs a proper rewrite. It is weak. It has in specific info in the first lines when it should focus on the global iconic nature of the turntable in popular culture. WP:LEAD summarizes the most notable things. All the fluff in the second paragraph is poorly constructed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 169.0.4.169 (talk) 12:52, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
