Band Name Origin in lead

[edit]

The lead mentions that the band got their name from William S Burroughs twice, which seems redundant. I'm going to remove one of them, unless someone thinks there's a good reason to keep both? MrMoustacheMM (talk) 14:54, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, following your request I take a look in the article and saw the redundancy. I rewrite [without save--and I not saved] that sentence, but I want to see what you can do.--Cannibaloki 16:15, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I gave it a shot, see what you think. If you think your rewrite is better, by all means change my edit. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 17:01, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good, but why the band cite these writers as their influences?--Cannibaloki 17:45, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Good question. I honestly don't know, I would assume it's a lyrical influence? The cited page for that sentence is blocked from my workplace, so I'll have a look when I get home. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 17:54, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly, when you use a non-blocked PC, a quote from that source will explain my question, and you will be able to complete the sentence. Ah, "metal-archives.com" and "lastfm.com" aren't reliable sources [they are edited by "enthusiasts" like me and you].--Cannibaloki 18:10, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Genre

[edit]

Death metal, Grindcore, and Deathgrind have all been used to describe SWWAATS. I've made the compromise to include all of them. Any relevant discussion to lean one way with the designation should be put here for topical discussion. - Team4Technologies (talk) 20:31, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
