Frustratingly, that source doesn't give names for the streams or other obvious ways to look up more information about them. So there isn't a lot that can be added to the article just yet. wrong def

I think star streams are actually groups of widely spread stars that have the same velocity vector in space, as opposed to star clusters, that aren't widely spread. It is reasonable to believe that most or all star streams are dispersed former star clusters or dwarf galaxies, but that's not the definition, that's the natural conclusion.
