It looks like someone just copied all the information from the South Bend Airport website and pasted it in the article. I have removed the offending content and placed a new version of the page at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:South_Bend_Regional_Airport/Temp. cntrlaltdel33t

Cntrlaltdel33t: I just stumbled across the temp page with AWB and tagged it. I was about to move from talk namespace to main namespace (not noticing it was in /Temp). I've reverted myself to fix the error, but I really feel that the article should be replaced back to the page here. All of the copyvio material is gone and all that remains is infomation that is available from the Federal Aviation Administration in the Airport facilitites directory (public domain) and online via other sources which make use of the same data from the FAA Form 5010, such as Airnav.com. thadius856talk 01:47, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Route map

I have noticed the route map is out of date, but I do not know how to edit it myself. If anyone would like to, I know of the following changes.

-Cape air has since pulled out

-Allegiant now offers service to PHX(Effective June 2)

-Northwest no longer exists(all flights are operated by Delta)

Additionally, the airport now offers nonstop flights to Newark (being advertised as flights to New York) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.74.116.184 (talk) 12:16, 27 October 2014 (UTC)

2014 name change

In the references that I just added to the article [1][2] there is no "Airport" in the new name but it obviously needs to be there for context. This should probably be settled before an article move. Mapsax (talk) 14:16, 24 April 2014 (UTC) Edit for clarity: "South Bend International" and "South Bend International Airport" are the two titles which I have in mind. Mapsax (talk) 15:34, 24 April 2014 (UTC)

A third source for the name change supports using "South Bend International Airport".[3]
Note: I've also left a mention of this discussion at Talk:South Bend, Indiana#Name of the airport, with a link back to here. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 21:54, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
I say move the article about the airport itself to South Bend International Airport per WP:COMMONNAME. I went ahead and updated the text in South Bend, Indiana#Transportation and added a bit to the caption of the airport's picture for clarity, anyone see any problems with that? I've moved/renamed the article based upon the above discussion, and added all three refs to the history section. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 18:19, 10 May 2014 (UTC)

"South Bend International" is a marketing term. The word Airport remains in SBN's official title: http://flysbn.com/sbn/contact/, http://flysbn.com/category/news/, http://flysbn.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/2016-Annual-Report.pdf. Are there additional comments or objections to requesting an editorial request for closure? Leaving subject open for comments and objections prior to making formal request, anticipating no earlier than Jan 2018.

Dubious & Failed verification

Upgaged aircraft and flights to uncommon destinations over 7 football weekends is not an accepted definition of "seasonal" service. Neither the airport nor the airline considers the small number number of upgraded flights and additional destinations over very limited durations to be seasonal service. The airport web site http://flysbn.com/flights/airlines/ or Delta https://www.delta.com/content/dam/delta-www/pdfs/route-maps/us-route-map.pdf show LGA as a destination available from SBN. An assertion of seasonal service needs to be verified rather than an subjective assessment of the schedule.
