Merger proposal

[edit]

I propose to merge this article into the one on Alvaldi. They both seem to be talking about the same mythic character(s), and this one is so short it's nearly a stub. Bgoldnyxnet (talk) 18:46, 16 December 2018 (UTC) Bgoldnyxnet (talk) 17:21, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Bgoldnyxnet Do you have sources that say Olvaldi and Ivaldi are one and the same? I found none.. —-— .:nimbosa:. (talkcontribs) 07:22, 4 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Olvaldi and Ivaldi are theorised quite extensively to be identical in Investigations into Germanic Mythology Vol. 3 by Viktor Rydberg. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:8003:241F:5001:F847:F886:805F:BCCE (talk) 11:45, 29 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Investigations into Germanic Mythology seems to be a 2-volume work in its original format. Might 2001:8003:241F:5001:F847:F886:805F:BCCE or someone else have a clearer reference? Unless this confirmed I think that we should just link the pages until the evidence is stronger. Klbrain (talk) 10:50, 8 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am content the alternative of linking the pages. Bgoldnyxnet (talk) 15:26, 6 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Brokkr and Sindri picture

[edit]

Why is there a picture of Brokkr and Sindri in an article about their competitors? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.77.131.222 (talk) 13:14, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Most of the article entirely plagiarised

[edit]

Most of the paragraphs are entirely copy pasted from this site [1]https://ivaldisonsforge.com/blog/169-sons-of-ivaldi.html gotta be something wrong with that ethically or for Wikipedia. Chacabangaso (talk) 12:02, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
