Citations needed

[edit]

This page needs more reliable sources. Most of its sources are primary sources, such as the press's webpage (archived), and Facebook posts. I have found one document from the University of Texas at Austin that gives a history of the press, and the author did an interview with the press's founder.

I suspect the press's founder, Chuck Taylor, wrote this page or had a friend write it. It is very biased. I removed much of the biased language and tried to find citations for what I could verify. I did not rewrite the entire article, though, so it needs more work.

I added a Multiple Issues box (my first one, so I'm not sure if it's correct and would appreciate appropriate edits).

Expand Sections

[edit]

I recommend expanding the History section of the article and the Publishing section. I filled in what I could. There is not much information published in reliable sources about this press, so it will be difficult to expand. More research in print publications might be needed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CodexFelinus (talkcontribs) 20:10, 20 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

Lack of evidence, lack of sources and no editor except housekeeping. The website is still going by lists only 8 authors and less than 20 books - several of those are Chuck Taylor'z. Proposing deletion Amousey (talk) 22:21, 30 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Notability, I have changed the external link to http://www.sloughpressbooks.com, It is developed with weebly. Before it was google business site link which got expired. And i have also included the authors link regarding the citation. Is that good to go or should i remove them? Thecharlie-Ken (talk) 11:56, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
