Pronunciation

[edit]

I've altered the IPA pronunciation from [sgɜ:r æn lɒxən uwɪn] - which is an exaggerated anglicised version - to what I think is a broadly correct Gaelic (or at least educated Scottish) version, [skor ən loxən u:ən]. I'm not positive this is right though (in particular I don't know whether either or both o's should be [ɔ], and whether or not the u should be long), and I'd appreciate it if a Gaelic expert who's familiar with IPA could revise if necessary. Trying to get a photo to show, only a link appears ????

Pronunciation still not quite right - see http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/uaine Photo bottom left does show the Sgor but also (more centrally) Cairn Toul, so could be misleading. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Billo72 (talkcontribs) 12:10, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
