Ad copy

[edit]

Reads like ad copy, as if someone had copied a university brochure.

For example, there is nothing about the history of the institution. When was it renamed to Semmelweis university? There must have been a renaming, since it was founded in 1769 and Semmelweis was born in 1818. And he died in "medical disgrace", so it couldn't have been named after him in 1865 (his death), and not for years after. --jae (talk) 20:58, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Quite so. It also reads like a translation from Hungarian by someone with reasonable command of English, but definitely not a native speaker.

Encyclopedic tone

[edit]

This article reads too much like an advertisement in my opinion and lacks wikipedia's encyclopedic tone Meszzy2 (talk) 04:25, 25 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
