Reliability of Term "Global Hero"

[edit]

I can find no reliable source for "global hero". It seems to be taken form the https://www.24newshd.tv source, which claims to take it from NPR, but the NPR article doesn't mention the term. The number of sources doesn't matter when they simoly copy each other. DGG ( talk ) 23:00, 21 August 2021 (UTC).[reply]

@DGG: apart from 24newshd.tv source, there are also other sources which claim that "Global Hero" term for her. But there's nothing I can find on who.int about that term. So it'll be much better if we remove that line from article untill a reliable source (from WHO web) can be established. ☢️ Radioactive 🎃 (talk) 04:38, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Removing {{Notability}} tag from the article

[edit]

There are a lot of sources available over the internet (as per WP:GNG) which clearly demonstrate her notability, such as,

And additionally she won many awards. In 2018, by-then President of Pakistan, Mamnoon Hussain conferred here with Tamgha-i-Imtiaz.
Dr Jamali clearly passes WP:GNG, WP:BASIC and WP:ANYBIO. I'm unsure why DGG tagged article with {{Notability}} tag. He also previously draftified this article (which I reverted). Instead of removing unreliable info(which was uncontroversial) and a source which he mentioned in talk page, he tagged whole article with {{Unreliable sources}}. Now he has tagged article with {{Notability}}, which also doesn't make sense, because a single google search about her can bring up if not hundreds, tens of independent and reliable sources with significant coverage. @DGG: should either explain or remove this tag. ☢️ Radioactive 🎃 (talk) 13:11, 24 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

In practice, all of these sources copy each other. That's evidence they are based on the same press releases. thosands of health service people have done similarly--a few get publicity--it's not our role to add to it. DGG ( talk ) 13:47, 24 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@DGG: if you're that much assured that she isn't notable, then why you haven't tried WP:AfD. As per your logic and reasoning if this article is without reliable sources and article's subject doesn't meet notability, then man you've some strong grounds on deletion criteria to pursue an AfD. ☢️ Radioactive 🎃 (talk) 14:31, 31 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
