Article Creation

[edit]

This article was created with the text corresponding to a major edit in the Caporales article which was moved because it belonged more to the Saya than to the Caporales; the author of the text as for the moment of its creation is Danadrianrico. However needs a lot of sourcing and wikifying so I'll be working on this article during the next days. Thank you. Erebedhel - Talk 10:51, 28 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I created the vast amount of information for the Caporal Page. Because a Saya page was created, I believe it is appropriate. Although there is no available video (that I know of) in the Wikimedia database, it is known that Saya performances (the ballet variety) can start off with the traditional Afro style as an entrance. I can hope that this information will not be challenged simply due to some pride or group issues, as its common to replace the names of groups on the Caporales page. --Danadrianrico (talk) 21:36, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps if you have any information about the Saya as ballet, that information could be in a new article Saya (ballet), both Caporales and this article lack of sources and need some work, I have collected some material to expand them further but right now I'm a little bit busy to focus on these articles I have the intention to work on them in the future though. Meanwhile any information regarding this subject would be very welcomed. Erebedhel - Talk 22:14, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Erebedhel. here is a webpage. http://www.criollo.perujax.org/subpage9.html, although it is privy to just Saya in general, not explaining the ballet aspect. Probably it would be good to combine the text with the text we already have, and also explain the different tournaments that take place in Peru and Bolivia, which would be a pretty well rounded explanation of Ballet Saya. --190.11.86.50 (talk) 19:34, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thank you for the link I'll give it a look and see what can be added. Erebedhel - Talk 21:13, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edits

[edit]

If anyone can help with a description of the Saya Dance (as opposed to other related dances like Tundique, Caporales, etc.) that would be great. I may be able to find something if not.

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.
