Is Andorra itself part of the diocese? MaartenVidal 18:20, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

According to our article Roman Catholicism in Andorra, yes. However, the article is a stub and does not cite its sources ... Gentgeen 21:07, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Date/Count of Cession

[edit]

The article currently says:

Andorra was ceded to the Bishop of Urgell by the Count Ermengol IV of Urgell in the 12th century.

Ermengol IV, Count of Urgell now has an article, which says he died in 1092. Difficult to find sources on this since it's Wikipedia clones almost all the way down... but I found this article that says it was Ermengol VI in 1133. I'm changing it to that; leaving this note since I have zero knowledge on the topic. --Rory096 18:00, 16 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This page might be useful in explaining further (it's cited in Andorra), if anyone can read it.--Rory096 18:19, 16 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

What is the significance of 1695?

[edit]

Why is the list of bishops divided between pre- and post-1695? Richard75 (talk) 11:57, 28 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I've merged it into one list. Richard75 (talk) 09:51, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
