Merge proposal

I agree, and that it should be trimmed back down to pretty well the content that was originally on the Benitez page. I don't think it warrants a huge amount of coverage; the article is very recentist as it is. The sources in the new article are good though, and should be kept where possible, especially the transcript ones. --Ged UK 09:22, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I wouldn't even bother merging it with the main Benitez article. It's a pretty minor thing in the scheme of things, better to concentrate on facts and achievements. Let's just delete the article. - fchd (talk) 12:43, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, there was a section in the Benitez article, as part of the 'Relationship with other managers' section that covered this. I would rather see the core information from this article go back into that one, where it came from.
