Wonderful! However one might wonder if the company is notable enough? Marcus Qwertyus (talk) 17:36, 9 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It is a notable company in the world of small boat sailing, however the article gives no info about RS Sailing as an organisation other than they have designed a range of successful boats. The article still reads as a sales brochure and not an encyclopedia article. User:Mansell123 has very much taken the lead in developing the RS series of articles and we should initially look to him to include some info about the company. (ref my other comments below) Thanks, Boatman (talk) 13:15, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

RS Sailing

[edit]

This article is an article about the manufacturer/company but has lots of info about product and very little about the company. eg history, employees, turnover, location, production facilities, volume per annum. If I interpret this properly this is a big success story but the reader is none the wiser on who/what RS Sailing are as a company/organisation. Thanks Boatman (talk) 09:16, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

World championships

[edit]

As it currently stands, not sure what this section is trying to do. In any case information about boat specifics should be included in the article for that boat and not replicated in the manufacturers article. Some attention needed here to move and then expand the info into the boat article including at least the location of the championships and the name(s) of the winning crew. (There are plenty of examples of this in other boat class articles) Thanks, Boatman (talk) 09:16, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Boat specifics

[edit]

The list of awards is probably OK in the main article as they have been achieved by the company's products, however the long list of class associations does not belong here. The Products para enables the reader to go direct to all the great specifics of each boat. Boatman (talk) 09:16, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
