Queijada

[edit]

Queijadas are made across Portugal. Each region has its unique type of queijada. Even though, the word ‘queijada’ is related to ‘queijo’ (which means cheese)it does not mean the queijadas have cheese. The photo on the page is the Queijada da Vila Franca do Campo which is a town in Azores. There is no cheese in the ingredients. The main ingredients are milk, eggs and sugar. The Queijadas de Sintra (a town in central Portugal) do have a type of fresh cheese. 2A01:4B00:88E4:A00:89F8:DE93:A9F8:D141 (talk) 13:02, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
