Perryville, MD station

[edit]

The MARC station in Perryville MD carries stones near the roof that read 1905 and P.W.B. If the PW&B was fully integrated into the PRR by 1902, why did the station not carry PRR hallmarks? Bill S. (talk) 15:15, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Do the stones really read "P.W.B."? Or do they perhaps read "P.B.W.", for Philadelphia, Baltimore & Washington, the PRR subsidiary into which the PW&B was swept in 1902? PRRfan (talk) 03:25, 8 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
