Notability

[edit]

I put the notability tag up because the article doesn't address this (and is unreferenced). However, if someone cares, I found this site which says that he designed 20 boats which won the national championship. May be helpful. Malick78 (talk) 21:43, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have updated this article several times. It has 16 external references and the notability of the subject appears a matter of public record. Morrison's notability as a designer is recorded in the class records of every development class boat he has designed, as for example the Merlin Rocket reference above, but also see International 14 and National 12 for example. Also where he has designed new and successful one design dinghy classes such as the [Laser 2000[1]] where he is named as designer, and the various RS designs, for example see the [RS200 [2]] where he is named as designer, we see thousands of dinghy sailors all over the world sailing Morrison's designs.
