I have followed all known conventions in submitting this article - however, please notify me here or here first if you believe it requires modification, or indeed if it is nominated for deletion. Ref (chew)(do) 02:14, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I was bold and made the changes I deemed necessary myself. Please don't assume ownership of articles. For what it's worth, it was pretty good - my main bugbear was the paragraphs were too short and could be merged, and names of organisations such as the Association of League Referees were unnecessarily italicised, and so I corrected these. Also it could do with adopting the proper {{cite web}} template for citations but this is not a massive issue right now. All in all a nice article, I thought. Qwghlm 18:55, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No apology necessary. Not mine, I would just like to be notified if there's a problem, either before or after a major edit, or nomination for deletion, occurs. No other agenda. Thanks. Ref (chew)(do) 22:34, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
OK - I obviously misunderstood, sorry. I thought you meant any edit not things like nominations of deletion. I think the article would have easily survived an AfD. Qwghlm 10:58, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I know! I would never, but never, submit an article I didn't have the utmost confidence in. Pat's notability (within the scope of my former part-time occupation) is unquestionable - I am only surprised that I came to Wikipedia and found not a line about him existed. If I had not invested in his semi-autobiography (Am*z*n, used copy, £1.75 plus £2.25 p&p!), I would not have been able to justify the article at its present length. Money well spent. Best wishes.
