Oxygen Rich?

How is it that the lake can be oxygen-rich if little photosynthesis is taking place? Would it not be the exact opposite? Because if plants are not recycling CO2 into O2 then how is there oxygen in the lake? --Saders49 (talk) 19:57, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
