Bullshit

[edit]

This page is pretty much bullshit and I think it should be deleted.

"A normal compressed air rifle would have on average a muzzle velocity speed of about 400 fps to 550 fps, whereas the nitrogen powered rifle's pellet can sometimes a terminal velocity of 1,250 fps" -- This has nothing to do with the type of air, but the power plant of the gun. Guns using normal air can achieve muzzle velocities just as high.

"faster than the speed of sound" -- Maybe so, but this is considered a bad thing as the shock wave destroys accuracy when pellets exceed the speed of sound, so it's not a feature.

"An analogous would be using nitrogen gas in Formula One Racing cars instead of compressed air. Hence the use." -- Aside from the bad grammar, this is not analogous at all. Nitrogen is used in cars because of its chemical effects, whereas in guns it has nothing to do with chemistry.

"This can deliver enough power and knockdown to go all the way through a rabbit from 45 yards or more." -- Again, this is only dependent on the power plant and not the type of air. Also a bit gruesome...

"they are very powerful it can help you get around the laws of city limits and shooting a gun because this is nearly as powerful as a .22 long rifle i feel its as strong as a .22 short." -- Bad grammar and irrelevant to the use of "nitrogen".
