Autonetics

Would like to see a discussion here of Autonetics Industrial Products, manufacturers of the Recomp line of computers and a division of North American Aviation. I have a fair amount of information on the Recomp II and Recomp III, but close to nothing on Autonetics itself. Jim 19:57, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Apollo 1

It says in the Apollo 1 article that they had something to do with the shipping or creation.

"When North American Aviation shipped Spacecraft CM-012 to Kennedy Space Center"

Those of you with 1st hand knowledge of NAA history need not contribute

I much appreciated the opportunity to work at North American Aviation and wished to contribute to this article. Apparently that is not allowed. I have been roundly chastised on several occasions by junior editor BilCat for my "original research" when attempting to correct errors or add additional information--not just on this article but others as well. Since Bilbcat will not allow me to correct the text of the article, for those interested in knowing, Rocketdyne was NOT sold in 1955 and was a division of NAA for as long as NAA existed.
