For the future

[edit]

I will write this article soon:

The issue in question featured Nick Fury and the suporting character Countess Vanessa Allegra de Fontaine in an intimate moment in the last panel of the last page, which was deemed too sexual by the CCA. They demanded that Steranko replaced the last panel wherein Fontaine and Fury embrase in a kiss with somehting less explicit. Steranko complied and the panel was redrawn to instead feature a close-up of the gun from the first panel. This has been precived as even more sugestive by many comic book readers. Besides the last panel of the page other minor changes were also made to the page, such as a previous panel were the phone was put of the hook in the original (this to imply that the characters were bussy) but was drawn to be put back on in the published version. https://www.cbr.com/comic-book-legends-revealed-219/ http://www.webcitation.org/6w0Bwmt2t
