Liberal Demokrat Party

[edit]

And Hür Demokrat Party are not the same party changing names. The latter was closed much before the one on the section title opened. User Ardoga, you are confused, IMO. --E4024 (talk) 19:31, 11 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No I am not. Mehmet Yazar's Party was Hür Demokrat party. The problem is that the word liberal has slightly different meaning in English . For example the statue of liberty is Hürriyet heykeli in Turkish and Hür Demokrat Party can be translated as Liberal Democrat Party. Actually I've created the article Liberal Democrat Party (Turkey) two years ago and I want to keep the link in this article. That's why I used the name. But I also keep your wording. Please note that I didn't change your wording :Liberal Democrat|Free Democrat. OK ? Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 21:25, 11 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yes but we also have a Liberal Democratic Party (Turkey) and the two get confused. We should better change the name of the other one to "Free" . (There already was a confusion in a DAB page and I corrected it minutes ago.) --E4024 (talk) 21:45, 11 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
And whose name in Turkish is "Liberal Demokrat Parti"! We are not helping our readers... --E4024 (talk) 21:48, 11 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. There are parties with the same name. For example New Turkey Party. You can see that they are disambiguated by using the foundation date. New Turkey Party and New Turkey Party (1961).We can also use an about template to disambiguate Mehmet Yazar's and Besim Tibuk's parties.Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 07:14, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Look what you cause, Nedim; as I am sure you did not bother to search this when I hinted above. Thanks to you there is no Liberal Democrat Party in Turkey... --E4024 (talk) 14:18, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
