The characters in the Japanese name 中井 break down as "middle/central well" and might have referred to their ancestor's farms, but I'm really not sure. —

Standard author abbreviations

Are very WP:NOTABLE and go on the main dab page to keep people from having to wade through lists of completely unrelated surnames.
