Claims subject was sex worker

[edit]

Sorry, just seen date, which I thought said 2022. Including this disputed derogatory label is still not justified, in my view, given the conflicts in sources. Cambial foliar❧ 08:32, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The BBC describe her as being a sex worker and prostitute. As do many other newspapers. What is the conflict? 109.157.92.138 (talk) 08:35, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
How is prostitute derogatory? And she died 11 years ago.. is that recent? 109.157.92.138 (talk) 08:36, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
"The only exception would be for people who have recently died, in which case the policy can extend based on editorial consensus for an indeterminate period beyond the date of death—six months, one year, two years at the outside" 109.157.92.138 (talk) 08:39, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Take a look at my most recent edits. It is a compromise that includes all of the sources and information that you wanted to include, while also acknowledging the contradictions in the sources. The History Wizard of Cambridge (talk) 09:07, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Alright I see you did not accept my compromise. Interesting. The History Wizard of Cambridge (talk) 09:21, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Cambial Yellowing, considering that this wikipage is a topic which is very sensitive and controversial topic, how would you feel about this page having extended protection? The History Wizard of Cambridge (talk) 09:31, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No, that was no compromise. 109.157.92.138 (talk) 09:43, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I see no evidence of disruption by other IPs, or IP hopping, that would necessitate protection. All editors need to either contribute constructively and collaboratively or have article access removed. Hopefully the former. Cambial foliar❧ 10:05, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am happy with how it is right now. I believe this is fair. 109.157.92.138 (talk) 10:10, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed protection

[edit]

Well then, since 109.157.92.138 has found to have been a potential sock puppet of militaryfactchecker and has been blocked from editing, have you changed your mind on whether we need protections? You know he will just come back again and again. The History Wizard of Cambridge (talk) 14:32, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If and when he or she comes back, let's request it. Cambial foliar❧ 14:41, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
