Merge proposal

I propose merging Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation into Multiple deprivation index. It seems the Scottish index is just a specific application of the other UK indices -- as usual in the UK, the Scottish government publishes many of its own statistics (instead of the Whitehall government doing so for Scottish areas). Nonetheless, they are normally seen as directly comparable with the rest of the UK. And a merge would not cause any article-size or weighting problems in Multiple deprivation index because the other article is very short. Komonzia (talk) 03:48, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
