Auckland actress Miss Lee Grant?

[edit]

The article says that Grant added "Mr" to his name "to avoid confusion with an Auckland actress Miss Lee Grant".

I've removed the link to Lee Grant who is a famous American actress with (as far as I can see) no connection with Auckland or New Zealand.

Was there in fact also an Auckland actress called Lee Grant? Can we verify this?

If not, maybe the word "Auckland" should be removed and the link to the American Lee Grant reinserted.

Looking around there does seem to be a NZ actress Lee Grant imdb entry however she seems to have very few roles and many sources get her and the "other" Lee Grant confused. Further on this page somebody comments that her mum was Lee Grant and in he 80s (in 2011) which would make her old enough to be active at the time - SimonLyall (talk) 02:15, 8 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That's great: you found what I couldn't! I'll put a mention of this somewhere, somehow, in the text. Lyn50 (talk) 06:03, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
