  • I've cleaned up this article to a certain extent, but once again, it doesn't matter that you have permission. The language was (and to a large extent still is) unsuitable and uninformative as an encyclopedia article. This is a notable artist, but the article reads like a press release, which is exactly what it has been copied from. Worse, it was originally in Italian and has been run through a machine translator, resulting in gibberish, which is virtually incomprensible to an English-speaking reader. This is the English Wikipedia. I have removed large quantities of this gibberish and left only the basics. Please do not re-add to the article unless it is (a) comprehensible and {b) referenced to reliable sources which are completely independendent of the subject. Any other additions will be summarily removed. If you wish to have something added, then post it here on the tlk page and wait until someone can translate it for you properly. • Further note: Marzio Conti's website has an English version, when you get an OTRS ticket proving that you have permission to copy the material, please take any additions to this article from the English sections here and here. Please do not copy in machine translations of the Italian section. Also, please be aware that even with permission, personal website biographies are almost invariably promotional in tone and any copied text will probably need heavy editing for encyclopedic style. Prior content in this article duplicated one or more previously published sources. The material was copied from: http://www.marzioconti.com/en/biography. Copied or closely paraphrased material has been rewritten or removed and must not be restored, unless it is duly released under a compatible license. (For more information, please see "using copyrighted works from others" if you are not the copyright holder of this material, or "donating copyrighted materials" if you are.)

For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or published material; such additions will be deleted. Contributors may use copyrighted publications as a source of information, and, if allowed under fair use, may copy sentences and phrases, provided they are included in quotation marks and referenced properly. The material may also be rewritten, providing it does not infringe on the copyright of the original or plagiarize from that source. Therefore, such paraphrased portions must provide their source. Please see our guideline on non-free text for how to properly implement limited quotations of copyrighted text. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with these policies. Thank you. Voceditenore (talk) 13:10, 25 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Note: There is no OTRS evidence of permission having been granted for that material (see the first section above) and the webpage is clearly marked Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Even if permission were to be properly confirmed, virtually nothing on that page is usable as it is blatantly promotional as was this Wikipedia article until I cleaned it up today. Any further additions like that will be reverted on sight. Any editors who have any affiliation whatsoever, either personal or business, with Mario Conti must follow the guidelines at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest scrupulously in future.
