What is her actual place of birth?

[edit]

Although the United States Navy considers Admiral Jackson to be "a native of Wimberley, Texas", it does not necessarily mean that Jackson was born there, especially if her parents were living a semi-nomadic lifestyle at the time of her birth. Are there any reliable sources that mentions her actual place of birth?

The August 2011 issue of Virginia Living claims that Jackson was born in Spain and had also lived in Liberia and Saudi Arabia as a child while father worked as a geologist.

Should Virginia Living be considered a reliable source? -- 68.50.32.85 (talk) 03:31, 6 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Seems reliable to me. Info on her birth is pretty hard to find. I looked for a birthdate or age and could not find either. --Klaun (talk) 17:37, 6 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
BTW, Virginia Living claims that Jackson was 45 years old at the time of the interview (in 2011). This would imply that she was born in either late 1965 or early 1966.
There is a strong possibility that she may never have attended school in Wimberly. According to a U.S. House document, Jackson is a graduate of the St. Stephen's Episcopal School (Austin, Texas), a private grade 6‒12 day and boarding school in Austin, Texas. This document did not specified if she had boarded at the school or had traveled daily 38 miles in each direction from Wimberly to Austin. -- 68.50.32.85 (talk) 04:12, 10 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
