Non Giacchino/Soundtrack songs

[edit]

There were alot of commercial songs on the show, generally in the form of those slow motion character montages or when a record player was used by a character. I think it would be appropriate to include these tracks in the article a la other soundtrack articles on Wikipedia. I can't find a list anywhere though ProfNax (talk) 12:54, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Usefulness?

[edit]

This list might be made more useful, if it referred to particular episodes or places that these songs were used. At this point, it just looks like a random compilation of songs, without much encyclopedic value. —font face="Verdana,San-Serif" size="-2">LeflymanTalk 03:55, 25 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'd suggest those be converted to "Episode #" (Ep. # for brevity), which would be more useful info. Listing a numerical "order" is kind of arbitrary -- it doesn't relate to anything verifiable, such as the soundtrack-- the list of which I just merged here.—LeflymanTalk 01:22, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Foreign Versions

[edit]

It might be interesting to note that some foreign language dubs of Lost contain music not in the original; for example, the Japanese dub has an ending theme performed by the band Chemistry. I'm not sure if this is a case with other versions, but I'm sure there are people out there who would like that information. I can't really research it myself, though.

Ben Harper?

[edit]

I could have sworn I've heard Ben Harper on the show, perhaps in the first season. Any addicts able to confirm or deny this? Stephen 03:30, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The version of "I Shall Not Walk Alone" played in Confidence Man is credited to both Ben Harper and The Blind Boys of Alabama, so the entry should be edited as such. Pumpkingrrl 02:02, 15 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hurley's Rap Song

[edit]

Anyone know the name of the song that Hurley was listening to while he was driving his mother to her new house in Numbers? Don't know if it counts since it was a flashback song, but just in case. It was kind of catchy. Morhange 20:43, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A Song By Casey Chambers

[edit]

In an interview with Casey Chambers on Rove Live which airs in Australia on Channel 10 and New Zealand, Casey apparently did a song for LOST. It might be for an episode of the upcoming Season 3 and if so could it be added to the main article? Nightwolf 14:55, 18 August 2006

I don't think so. WikiPedia is not a crystal ball. SergeantBolt (t,c) 19:46, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Eko Lagos

[edit]

Thanks

Room 23

[edit]

Page split

[edit]

I proposed it: 2 soundtrack pages should be made, with the information put there. Other information isn't that notable and should be removed. RobJ1981 06:21, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

shouldn't the "Good Vibrations" by the Beach Boys be included? It's referred to in the finale (charlie and the switch)

I disagree. This page doesn't seem all that necessary to begin with. --thedemonhog talkedits 23:24, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Lost s2track.jpg

[edit]

Image:Lost s2track.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Music in Trailer Video

[edit]

According to the wiki article @ A Silver Mt Zion, Effects on popular culture, part of the song "Tho You Are Gone I Still Often Walk With You" was used in the 4th season trailer. What would be the best way to list music not neccesarily part of an episode, but still used within the Lost project? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.151.10.94 (talk) 21:57, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Papa Loves Mambo?

[edit]

The list states that "Perry Como - Papa Loves Mambo" is also heard in episode 2x10: The 23rd Psalm. I could not hear it playing anywhere during the whole episode. If noone can state when it can be heard, the mention of the episode should be removed. 89.217.47.252 (talk) 18:20, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reviews

[edit]

Shouldn't the Amazon and iTunes ratings be removed? Those aren't from professional reviews, are they? --63.170.82.103 (talk) 19:45, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
