Lonnie Burr as offspring of Raymond Burr

[edit]

"Gossip extant at the time of the Mickey Mouse Club suggested eroneously that Lonnie was the son of the Hollywood heavy actor Raymond Burr who was then popular in the Perry Mason Television series."

The above text was removed from the article, as there was no citation for it, and as it seems very unlikely to be true. While the general public was not aware of Raymond Burr's private life in the 1950's, it was known within the industry that he was homosexual, and hence "Hollywood" gossip would not have given credence to any rumours of him fathering a Mouseketeer son. This may, however, have been a "schoolyard" rumour among fans of the Mickey Mouse Club. - Saratoga Sam (talk) 14:49, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
