Drip Dry Fabrics

[edit]

I have searched Wikipedia, but I cannot find any information on "Drip Dry" fabrics, what the process is that makes a fabric "drip dry", and how the fabric differs from any other clothing material. Please can anyone supply a link to this ? Or add this information to this and / or the "Laundry" page ? Many thanks, Frank. Darkman101 (talk) 21:36, 10 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wash temperatures

[edit]

I wanted to know washing temperatures from a hygiene and killing germs point of view, regardless of manufacturer's recommendations. This follows discovering two friends do washes at 60-90°C because they fear germs are not being killed, whereas I am considering moving from 40-50°C to 30°C for environmental reasons as well as thinking detergents these days do the killing. None of your articles seem to cover this. 2A00:23C6:D90E:5D01:953F:D5A3:5A87:35F9 (talk) 14:49, 16 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request to add SudShare to "Companies" list

[edit]

I'd appreciate it if the following line could be added to the "Companies" section of the page:

  • Washio — defunct laundry delivery service
  • SudShare — an American app-based laundry cleaning and delivery company.[1]

Citation meeting WP:IS criteria included as per WP:LISTCOMPANY. Yitzilitt (paid) (talk) 09:12, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done As this article is a "list of laundry topics", it would make sense that it should cover articles that actually exist (and thus LISTCOMPAY would not apply because this article is not specifically "List of laundry companies"). I see that there is a Draft:SudShare, so lets let that process play out first. Also, Washio does not link to an article about the laundry service. SpencerT•C 18:54, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Spencer Sorry, meant to link to Washio (company). I don't think that this list article is about laundry-related articles, but rather laundry topics, regardless of if they yet have an article about them. If you want to wait for the SudShare article to be accepted, however, that's totally fine :) Yitzilitt (paid) (talk) 14:50, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Spencer as SudShare now exists as an article, would you mind adding it to the list as described above? Yitzilitt (paid) (talk) 17:57, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
