Note to Editors

[edit]

Per WP:BLOGS – "Self-published expert sources may be considered reliable when produced by an established subject-matter expert, whose work in the relevant field has previously been published by reliable, independent publications."
Not every film released in the past and today is reviewed by a mainstream media source (such as The New York Times) or website (such as Deadline Hollywood). Sometimes the only reviews are found in niche publications and blogs by film experts.

In 2010, Film Comment published a list of film blogs: "The Top Film Criticism Sites: An Annotated Blog Roll".

Listed (and linked) in alphabetical order, these are the film blogs in the Film Comment article (some URLs changed since the article was published, while some blogs are no longer active):

La Cage aux Folles and sequels

[edit]

La Cage aux Folles, the 1978 French-Italian film, was followed in 1980 by sequel La Cage aux Folles II, and in 1985 by La Cage aux Folles 3: The Wedding. Gay characters Renato Baldi (Ugo Tognazzi) and Albin Mougeotte/ZaZa Napoli (Michel Serrault) are in both films. Pyxis Solitary (yak). L not Q. 11:54, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The La Cage films were included in List of feature films with LGBT characters. I removed them from that list:
