Talk:List of artists featured on MTV Unplugged

I feel as if this list would be better if it was re-ordered into seasons (for the artists whose seasons are known), and it would be a great improvement to know what years the various seasons took place. -- Kicking222 22:52, 2 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Done! --Kio 23:55, 2 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No references

[edit]

This is a list of artists that might have been featured on MTV Unplugged, but no references are available. If you can cite a reference (CD, date and place of concert, etc.) please include the artist back in the article (incl. the reference, of course). --Kio 04:55, 5 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Phil Collins did not have an Unplugged aired in North America, but did have one on MTV Europe in the early/mid nineties, if I recall, around the release of his Both Sides album (it did poorly in the US, but a moderate success in Europe). I'm not aware of any official recordings of the Unplugged besides some tracks as B-Sides on the European single, "No Matter Who" [1]. I've not seen or heard the show for myself, so I can't confirm anything else. --Ataricodfish 00:40, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Other MTV Unplugged shows

[edit]

There is a list of few artist in the article page in the end. Why are these artists there put seperatly. If the reason is that their year is not know. Please mention this itself in the article page.

Short description added, hope it is clear enough. BTW, the list is based on the info at tv.com. Kio 06:02, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dates

[edit]

This dates taken from tv.com are a complete mess: sometimes they indicate when the show was recorded, sometimes when it first aired. Björk's unplugged session for instance premiered on November 7, 1994 and was most likely recorded in London in September 1994. And so forth. 84.41.34.154 12:05, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ne_Yo and Joss Stone?

[edit]

MTV has Unplugged concerts of these artists on their mtv.com site; should Joss Stone and Ne-Yo, then, be added to the list. If so, how? By the way, here's the link: [2] --Andresg770 23:41, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Andresg770, just add them to the list, put the performance venue/date and a link to the MTV page as a reference. Kio 02:51, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
