Seasons?

[edit]

How come the seasons go 1-2, 3-4, 3 and 5? Can someone who knows the series fix this? Joltman 14:24, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I know the DVDs are 1/2, 3/4, and 5. Why do all the websites have just 4 seasons. I am me93 (talk) 21:47, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Episode order

[edit]

how come some episodes are in the wrong order and in the wrong season? this is just one example: how come the snow white and the seven dwarfs episode is all the way on the bottom of fourth season when it should be in the middle of second season? and in the first season the pilot episode is listed like one of the last episode posted on the season 1 list? i have the real list order. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.189.138.141 (talk) 18:25, 13 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The list is in order of airdate, not production date or story order. ▫ JohnnyMrNinja 03:28, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The 'No. in series' count, and Good Morning, Miss Bliss and The College Years

[edit]

It is my opinion that we should not include either Good Morning, Miss Bliss or SbtB: The College Years in the "total number of episodes" for SbtB – i.e. the 'No. in series' count. Good Morning, Miss Bliss was basically an entirely different series that only has a showrunner and a few characters in common – as such, it should just have its own episode count, separate from Saved by the Bell proper. Similarly, The College Years is a "sequel series", or a "spinoff", and should also not be included in the 'No. in series' count, as it's not a "new season" of the original series, but is in fact an entirely different series. (Note that we're not including Saved by the Bell: The New Class here either...)

Doing this will, for one thing, eliminate the awkward "parenthetical" episode count that is included with the episode tables for the main Saved by the Bell series.

Waiting to see if there are any followup comments to this, but if there are no objections, I will make the proposed changes in the near future. --IJBall (contribstalk) 03:23, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Article formatting

[edit]

I have recently formatted the article and its related articles. My reasoning is thus. Saved by the Bell shows 4 seasons and 86 episodes in the infobox, so now the four seasons in the Episodes section are linked to each other but separate from the related content, now showing only 4 season tables and 86 episodes between them, meaning no need for the "bracketed" episode numbers. I moved the tables in the Good Morning, Miss Bliss and The College Years sections to their respective articles (Good Morning, Miss Bliss and Saved by the Bell: The College Years) and transcluded them here, as is WP:TV standard, instead of having two separate tables for each respective series here and at their articles. The films no longer include "episode counts" in the tables and series overview, as they are films, not episodes (also separating Hawaiian Style from the episodes section), and Good Morning, Miss Bliss and The College Years are not included in the "No. in series" counts, as they are separate series. -- /Alex/21 11:18, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@IJBall: Just noticed you recommended doing the same thing in the section above last year. I didn't notice your suggestion when I made the edits; let me know what you think of them. Cheers. -- /Alex/21 11:19, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Agree with what you've done here. Obviously, I intended to do the same last year, but it fell of my radar and slipped my mind. The one thing to note is that, in reruns, Hawaiian Style was actually broadcast as 4 separate episodes – but it was originally broadcast as a TV movie. --IJBall (contribstalk) 15:11, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I'd still say it's best to list it as a singular film, as it was never counted in the original episode count. Concerning the table widths ([1][2]), these were set so that the widths would match up on this article, when those tables were transcluded here. -- /Alex/21 22:08, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The director column is just too narrow (it's still too narrow in the SbtB proper seasons tables – I may get to that later...). But these two don't really need to "line up" in the same way with the others as they're both missing the "season no." column, and one of them doesn't even have the prod. code column either – so "lining them up" probably isn't even possible with these two. --IJBall (contribstalk) 22:30, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
