Merge

[edit]
The following discussion is closed and will soon be archived: Outcome was: merge completed

To at least partially address the context issue (long since tagged on Mass rocks in Clontibret) and the notability issue (more recently tagged on Lisglasson Mass Garden) I propose to merge the two. Almost all of the WP:MERGEREASONs are met. In that, as per the longstanding tag, a reader of the Mass rocks in Clontibret article needs to also read the Lisglasson Mass Garden article (and probably others besides) to fully understand the subject. Which shouldn't be neccessary. Otherwise both articles have been very short for a very long time (with no realistic chance of expansion in a way that doesn't result in CFORKs). And they both effectively cover the same topic. A merge might at least address some of the concerns highlighted with both articles. If not other thoughts, I'm going to merge the short "garden" article here. And then attempt to improve the merged article. Guliolopez (talk) 00:06, 30 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Resolved It's been a while. I haven't heard any other thoughts. And so I went ahead with the merge. As noted, there wasn't much to merge (as most of the content was already here anyway). Guliolopez (talk) 20:19, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
