Latest research?

[edit]

I received an e-mail the other day (in Farsi) but the diagrams attached seem to be suggesting that the stepped edges both to the front and rear of the tower may also be used as a form of calendar based on a 325 day year. The shadows cast by the height of the tower at specific dates of the year align with the leading edges of the steps. Hangerhead (talk) 07:56, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Are the two pictures of the same thing?

[edit]

The bottom picture, besides looking different in coloration and build to the top structure, does not have a wall around it as the top one does. Are we sure these are the same building? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.145.251.34 (talk) 18:31, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
