Unreferenced revenue

The infobox claims a Revenue of «US$27.9 billion (2020)», with a reference to https://www.forbes.com/companies/kfc/ However, I fail to find the stated value in that forbes page.

If we go to Wikidata, it states -for 2019- a total revenue of 38 billions (short scale) and a net profit of 18 billions, but their reference is the article of Wikipedia in Russian, where those values seem in turn unreferenced.

I-75 does NOT bypass Corbin Kentucky

This text is in the article "The Sanders Court & Café generally served travelers, so when the route planned in 1955 for Interstate 75 bypassed Corbin, Sanders sold his properties and traveled the US to franchise his recipe to restaurant owners. "

That's flat wrong. Corbin has two exits on I-75 at mileposts 25 and 29. I-75 passes about 1 1/2 miles to the west of the Sander's Cafe. Look at any map.

This line should read "The Sanders Court & Café generally served travelers, so when the route planned in 1955 for Interstate 75 bypassed his properties, Sanders sold them and traveled the US to franchise his recipe to restaurant owners. OdysseusCipher (talk) 05:16, 12 July 2023 (UTC)

We've deliberated on the definition of "bypass" on the Discord server for a while, but in any case, your wording fits the article's scope much better. LilianaUwU (talk / contributions) 07:07, 17 July 2023 (UTC)

Change Saunders to Sanders in this sentence:

Pat Grace met with Saunders at his holiday home in near Toronto and agreed to franchise the brand in Ireland. In 1970 Grace returned to Ireland after a number of years in Canada to open his first Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants in Phibsboro shopping centre in Dublin. Firsts not present

Hello,

I was reading this article after learning my great grandpa opened the first KFC in the Chicago area, and Chicago.

My grandpa isn’t the sole reason, but rather I noticed something. Why don’t we have things documenting the first KFC’s in areas? Other fast food articles should as well in some bulleted list. IEditPolitics (talk) 22:56, 6 February 2024 (UTC)

That doesn't really seem like encyclopedic content as it would be likely seen as WP:EXCESSDETAIL. However, if there was a website somewhere that had such a list, it may be ok to link to that, subject to WP:EL. Stefen Towers among the rest! GabGruntwerk 23:33, 11 June 2024 (UTC)

Decline of KFC

KFC in Canada and the US don't taste as good nowadays. Please mention about how KFC invests only in foreign markets and forgot about North America. W. F. Irving (talk) 17:59, 18 January 2024 (UTC)

Do you have a reliable source for the assertion that "KFC invests only in foreign markets and forgot about North America"? If not, nothing to that effect will be added to the article. General Ization Talk 18:24, 18 January 2024 (UTC)

That is an opinion, not a reliable source. General Ization Talk 18:31, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
Well a lot of Wikipedia articles have opinions. Honestly that is some toxic gatekeeping. W. F. Irving (talk) 18:46, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
No, that is Wikipedia policy. General Ization Talk 18:48, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
Articles that have opinions are opinions based on reliable sources. Wikipedia policies/guidelines are the ultimate "gatekeepers", not editors. Stefen Towers among the rest! GabGruntwerk 23:38, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
