[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... The City of Johannesburg is about to experience a 37 day water crisis [1]. The article is about the history of the crisis and is intended to inform residents about the issue, its history, and how the matter is being addressed ) --Derek J Moore (talk) 07:29, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion addition

Thanks for all the feedback fellow wikipedians. I trust that I am beginning to address the issues raised. Access to water in the largest city in Africa is a notable topic. My referencing was poor and uncategorized. I agree there are certain sections that read like an essay. I am also hoping that fellow wikipedians in the city will take the opportunity to crowdsource information about water points at the bottom of the article. Getting water information out is also an urgent matter All comments and thoughts are appreciated. I do hope that I have responded appropriately

Facts and opinion
