Fair use rationale for Image:JeannyI.jpg

[edit]

Image:JeannyI.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:19, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Success out of Germany

[edit]

Jeanny (and Falco) had quite an impact outside of the German speaking world too (see the categories). Maybe mention it in text? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 88.159.74.100 (talk) 18:52, August 23, 2007 (UTC)

Translation?

[edit]

Two issues regarding translation:

  1. The article text reads like it's been translated by a non-first-language-English speaker and could do with some polishing; and
  2. The controversial lyrics are reproduced only in German

Could someone with better knowledge of German take a look at the German Wikipedia article and improve this one therefrom? — OwenBlacker (Talk) 17:22, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I would not suggest that, since the German article is of very poor quality 220.142.133.31 (talk) 20:55, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Derrick soundtrack

[edit]

The song was used in one episode of the German TV series Derrick. Maybe someone has it on DVD and is able to properly reference this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Datsun69 (talkcontribs) 07:23, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Video

[edit]

I'd add a note about the music video, which has been seen as even more controversial than the lyrics by some, while "proving" that Falco was a genius to others.

Actress

[edit]

Is there any specific source that says Theresa Guggenberger was the girl in the video? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.241.37.242 (talk) 14:06, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
