About the back-and-forth in the founding date

[edit]

I noticed there has been some back and forth between whether the correct founding date of the institute is 1953 or 1954. I myself changed it to 1953 since I saw this is the date mentioned on the institute's website, in About us > Our History.

I'm not 100% sure it's the correct date, it's just what the website lists. If you have more information please share it.

I'm bringing this up so we can hopefully settle this issue.

p.s: If you believe 1954 is the right date, then could you share where you found this, please? Thank you so much in advance.

I'm glad someone else is paying attention! You're right, 1953 is correct, according to the The Young Foundation itself.https://www.youngfoundation.org/about/history/ I'm positive I saw '54 somewhere, but the year is nebulous in every source I found.
