Specifications OV-1D but 3-view shows OV-1A

[edit]

The 3-view drawing under Specifications shows an OV-1A with original short wings (span 42 ft) common also to the OV-1C. Also, article does not sufficiently detail that the extended wings (span 48 ft) were fitted to basic OV-1B and OV-1D variants (see Aerofiles.com etc). I've tried amending the 3-view image File: syntax in accordance with editing help article to add a relevant caption, but no visual change displayed in Preview - can someone help with suitable edit(s). If I understand what you want to do, you must add the bold text to the following syntx: [[File:Grumman OV-1 Mohawk 3-view.jpg|right|300px|thumb|"your wanted text here"]]. --McChizzle (talk) 22:40, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, that does work. However, my new citation doesn't seem to work (I got it from another Grumman article) :-) PeterWD (talk) 23:30, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Fixed. The citation template sucks; I never use it. --McChizzle (talk) 00:03, 12 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Airworthy list very much out of date.

[edit]

Airworthy list very much out of date. Mohawk Technologies who owned several of these appears to be out of business; their website mohawk-tech.com no longer exists. The example that was owned by the Carolina Air Museum is now at the Hickory Air Museum (see their site); while it may be airworthy it doesn't appear to have flown since arriving at Hickory.
