Death date conflicts

Please, determine whether the date of death (November 30, 1850) of Germain Hess is Gregorian (New Style) or Julian (Old Style) because I think it is in Old Style. If it is in Old Style, please, edit from "November 30, 1850" to "December 12, 1850 [O.S. November 30, 1850]" because Russia was using the Julian calendar until 1918. The second item in Further reading ["Hermann Heinrich Hess" (PDF) (in German)] gives the death date as 12.12.1850 which is the Gregorian date. Dirac66 (talk) 18:31, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
