Crew list

[edit]

In this edit I removed the crew list from the article. Wikipedia does not endeavor to duplicate the film's credit crawl or to posture as IMDb by tracking everyone who had a part in the film. If we have information about how a particular noteworthy cast member was chosen, or hired, or anything substantive, then we should write that up and include it. There is, however, nothing that encourages the inclusion of a Crew list at MOS:FILM, most film articles do not do this, and WP:NOTINDISCRIMINATE seems to discourage indiscriminate lists. I will also say that the shape of the list looks a lot like it was copied/pasted from somewhere. Why, for example, do we include a release date in a crew list? That seems more like an accidental failure to exclude rather than a conscious decision. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:24, 28 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
