Boycotts after pay policy change

[edit]

This should be added to the history section.LonelyBoy2012 (talk) 03:16, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Lets wait until we see the result. Slatersteven (talk) 10:11, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
How about now? It has been (roughly) half a year. Does that seem like enough time, that it would now be possible [for someone with 'vision'] to "see the result"? (By the way, the list of "reliable sources" might be longer, now.) --Mike Schwartz (talk) 04:19, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"Transphobic Slur" ?

[edit]

He also used a transphobic slur to insult the hackers "attacking" Gab and referred to them as "demon hackers".

Is "demon hackers" the transphobic slur, or is there something missing from this quote? In terms of readability, this is a stumbling block. While I doubt "demon hackers" is, or can be, considered a transphobic slur, you never know. In any case, it distracts the Reader's attention into a direction that goes nowhere.66.25.69.185 (talk) 13:41, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Two of the cited sources state that he used a transphobic slur on the Twitter account, they just (naturally) don't repeat that slur, and neither do we. The "demon hackers" is just another insult he slung, it's not the slur. We could throw an "also" in there for clarity if need be. — The Hand That Feeds You:Bite 13:44, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There are multiple RS reporting that he used a transphobic slur (CNET, Forbes) on top of that. The offending post on X has since been deleted. Black Kite (talk) 13:48, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
"And", he did both. Slatersteven (talk) 13:55, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed. It was simply that they were both in same sentence. Black Kite (talk) 14:36, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
