Save the wails?

[edit]

In Mr. Deeds, John Turturro's character, Emilio, wails on Adam Sandler's frostbitten foot...

What does this mean? How does one "wail" on a foot? -- Picapica 11:31, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yo, since firestick redirects here, i put a question asking if the person meant http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire-stick_farming, k? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.53.50.78 (talk) 22:17, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

First Line

[edit]

{{RFC error}} Apparently I've been having issues with 134.53.50.78 (talk) reguarding the first line of this document. I was reverting what seems to me as unnecessary edits: [1] I see no linkage between Fire-stick farming and a Fireplace poker, so I do not see why the linkage should occur. I do not wish to edit a revert war, so I am placing my reasons for reverts on this page. I will revert the edit in question, but I will self-revert if consensus is reached. Actually I tweaked the line, and added it back in. I still disagree, but I would like an opinion from a third party before I do anything else. S♦s♦e♦b♦a♦l♦l♦o♦s (Merry Christmas!) 20:38, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Fire-stick farming looks like firestick. Firestick is a colloquial name for a fireplace poker. I don't really see how someone would type firestick when looking for the article on fire-stick farming, but I guess they might. It would almost make more sense to say "Firestick redirects here. For the weapon, see gun", though. But not quite. Bart133 (t) (c) 17:03, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
