note

[edit]

This would be a good one to put a "redirect" for: XDR-TB to this site; if there's not already a link from a page on tuberculosis, there should be. Glad to see someone starting an article so soon after it makes the news. Mandsford 13:54, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect was already in place as of May 2007. — ERcheck (talk) 13:57, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Source of Resistance

Are the drug-resistance factors of XDR carried by a phage?David.Throop 14:32, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I work for the America's Most Wanted Safety Center, a new department of America's Most Wanted getting away from the capturing of criminals, and branching out to all aspects of safety. I feel a link to our post about avoiding TB when traveling would be appropriate and mutually beneficial, being that it was inspired by the Andrew Speaker situation and gives helpful tips that I'm sure people are curious about. The link is http://www.amw.com/safety/?p=63 please consider it. Jrosenfe 15:41, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Andrew Speaker

[edit]

Is the full reference to Andrew Speaker relevant? It has been stablished that he did not have this strain of the disease.--R6rome 21:44, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dr. Jeremiah Chakaya quotes need review

[edit]

The paragraph on Dr. Jeremiah Chakaya was not cited. I've tracked down and added a cite.
Dr Chakaya's comments appear useful to our article, however, it looks like some of this has been directly quoted without this being correctly specified.
Could someone involved from WikiProject Medicine please review this and determine what should be kept/deleted/clarified? Thanks. -- 201.37.230.43 (talk) 17:20, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
