Notability tag

[edit]

I suggest removing the notability tag at the top of this article. Firsova is an important composer listed in the New Grove Dictionary of Opera. I have including the article there as a source. This article should certainly not be deleted.

One question: Grove gives her name as Yelena, not Elena. Which is correct? - Kleinzach 00:39, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The most of the sources including The Oxford Dictionary of Music give the spelling Elena. Yelena Firsova is one of possible spellings as well as Jelena Firssowa. I made the both redirrections. Meladina 10:59, 27 April 2006 (GMT)
Thanks for the explanation. What about the notability tag? Do you support removing it? I see it was placed there by User:Alex Bakharev - Kleinzach 13:40, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
My opinion - yes. Meladina 16.19, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
I have left a note on User:Alex Bakharev's Talk Page asking him the reason for the tag. If he doesn't reply within a couple of days i will take it off. Best - Kleinzach 15:32, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I am delighted to see that User:Alex Bakharev has now removed the tag. - Kleinzach 20:55, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
