More sources

[edit]

I'm pointed to more sources by an expert who knew Denison:

  • Denison's masterwork was his book The Sources of Economic Growth, and it listed, discussed, and measured 15 or 20 potential sources of growth, including the possibility of working fewer hours but being more productive per hour, perhaps by being better rested.
  • Some pages of an essay by Stein about Denison, probably the same as the obit he is said to have published in the Wall Street Journal:
  • "Herb Stein was a great admirer of Denison" -- by Stanley Fischer in an obit for Stein -- a potential source about Stein too
