Murder trial

[edit]

The Sunday Mirror's article isn't available to view, as they don't appear to archive that far back. this site references it, and I have no reason to disbelieve the story: however, without a reputable source, the accusation constitutes libel, so I've removed it for the moment and pasted it here instead:

The Sunday Mirror newspaper reported on February 16, 1997 that Howard King Jr had been charged with murdering his mother, Avril Fiona King, two days earlier at the home that they shared in Connah's Quay, near Chester in north Wales. The outcome of the case was not reported in the national press. The outcome of the case was not reported in the national press. Locally it was reported that King had been convicted for his mother's murder.
