List of Characters vs. Discussion of the Plot

[edit]

Anyone care enough about this movie to convert the list of characters into a discussion of the plot? No one needs to worry about spoilers at this point, since the list and descriptions are so thorough. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Frankenab (talkcontribs) 12:05, 11 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Restore maint tags

[edit]

I restored some maintenance tags that had been removed without explanation.

I'm not sure they are exactly the best tags, but they represent some of the problems with this article.

  • Synthesis – The statement about the film adhering to some dramatic prescription is either original to the contributor or comes from an uncited source.
  • While the plot summary for a film can be written based on the content of the film without additional citation, that's not what appears here (as noted by a previous talk page commenter). The character descriptions also involve some synthesis, conveying what the writer surmised about characters perhaps based on their actions in the film.

While I agree that the press reviews and (although not precisely cited) mention in Maltin's book are sufficient to establish the likely notability of the film, at this distance in time there might possibly be something more said about it. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 17:41, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
